We took pipe supports down to their elemental forms and rethought the entre design and manufacturing process. Using 3D imaging and modeling, AGS' engineering team has created an entirely new way of manufacturing pipe supports with greater tolerances and laser accuracy.

No longer are you wasting hours and thousands of dollars on the installation side. Installation is completed within minutes, not hours.

The process began, quite literally, from the ground up. With our 30 years of knowledge in the industry, we began by examining the problem with traditional pipe support deployments, installations, and how that was impacting our customers. We discovered that poor quality, overseas supply and imperfections with manufacturing processes, necessitated extensive intervention during installations. There had to be a better way to manufacture the parts required with higher quality.

The answer was simple... do it ourselves.

Whatever the size or application, AGS manufactures and stores hundreds of pipe support variants in their new 103,000 sq. ft. facility. "Companies that cannot innovate, or create new ways of thinking or doing things will fail.", said J. Gary Frost, President, AGS Group Inc. "In this economy, it is paramount to create and provide customized solutions that maximize efficiency and value. This need holds true throughout the manufacturing process, management and fulfillment side of vital, critical path products for the industry.

With 2 facilities, 4 CNC lasers, 4 robots, 1 CNC bender, in-house painting facilities, and over 200,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing and distribution space, AGS is positioned to fulfill and deliver on your pipe support requirements. Whether its standard or completely custom, parts can be laser cut, assembled, and shipped within a matter of days, not weeks.

AGS has long been a pioneer in the use of technology within the industry. All pipe support products are etched with a heat-code traceability numbers and are barcoded and tracked through the company's Managements Information System (or MIS).

The MIS is the heart of AGS'"Virtual warehouse" fulfillment operations. As soon as your order is entered, the system notifies warehouse stuff which items are required. Items are then pulled and scanned, removing them from inventory, and staged for shipping. Once shipping has scanned the order, processing it for shipment, a Material Test Report (or MTR) is emailed to you automatically. Automation is prevalent throughout AGS, but not just in the manufacturing side, it exists throughout operations.

Whether it's a single order, or a multiple orders required throughout a project, AGS' can manage and fulfill your project demands on a daily basis. Throughout the project, parts are pulled and delivered to you, when and where you need them. This eliminates the exorbitant cost, both in time and material, of installation expenditures (i.e., lost parts, rush deliveries, salaries, overtime, etc.).

One of the largest energy companies in Canada, and long-term client of AGS had this to say, "A cross-functional team recommended AGS as the supplier of choice for this material. The result is a secure supply of pipe supports at a 25% savings over existing price structures. This will translate into a minimum of $1 Million dollars in avoided costs. This initiative also shows how we can leverage the expertise of our suppliers to help reduce project cost."
